The other day I went to Longwood Gardens in Kennent Square, PA It was a BEAUTIFUL spring day. The sun was shinning, the temperture was in the mid 80s, and there was a nice breeze. Longwood Gardens is a beautiful place full of a ton of amazing flowers, trees, and many other plants. Below are a few photos that I took.

It's been a while since I updated this blog. Nothing has been happening though. I was spring cleaning my room, working, and going to school so no crafting has been done in te past two weeks. Today I went to the Cape May Zoo in Cape May, New Jersey with my sister and nephew. It's not a big zoo, but a really nice one. Below are a few photos which I took.
I just received a spiral binding machine so I wil hopefully be making some notebooks from some 45 record sleeves which I bought in February. I originally bought a comb binding machine, but I really didn't like the look of it. I think because the cover is so small and the comb was so bulky. I don't know it just didn't look right.
Hopefully, next week will get back to normal and I will have more crafting posts. Until then, take care of yourself and have a great weekend.

I took a few days off from blogging because I honestly didn't do much crafting at all. I decidded (or my ADD took over) that I wanted to re-arrange my walls in my room. I wanted my crafting table to have things that inspire me or that bring me joy. So I moved an illustration that the very talented Rori Shapiro drew for me to my desk. I also framed a photo of a tea pot taken by Linda McCartney (I took the photo from a book of her photos as I sadly do not own any original photos) I also have a frame with two autographed photos that I took of Andy Dunlop and Fran Healy of the band Travis. Finally, I framed a page of my favorite Little Golden book, the Monster at the End of This Book. I already had an Elton JOhn vinyl clock which I made a while ago. Now I have a blank wall to put artwork on. I just don't know what to put on the wall. ⊄Other than that, I've been going to school, working, and getting ready for the Easter holiday.

It's snowing in New Jersey today. It's so bad that my school and work are closed. So I'm taking advantage of this snow day by listening to some good music and making some bags. Hopefully I will have three bags made by the end of the night. Here's a photo of an Alice in Wonderland bag that I am working on:

Well, Spring Break us over. So back to the norm. I actually like school a lot. I'm taking two courses: Computer Programming and Web Development. I go to school Monday through Thursday. I like having a schedule as it helps with making crafts. I find that when I have nothing to do for the day that I get very bored and not motivated. Anyway, off to make a new handbag made from a Little Golden book. I'm going to make one out of a Star Wars book today. Here's a picture of a Grumpy Cat handbag that I made which I personally use.

Today I drove up to Hillsborough, NJ (which is about 90 minutes away from where I live) to visit Duke's Farm. They have tons of trails, lakes, an orchid greenhouse, and lots more. I'm sure if I went during the autumn it would be beautiful with the autumn leaves, but it was still very relaxing. Today was a beautiful sunny day. I went early in the morning so it was probably 40 degrees or so. I walked for nearly four hours straight and needless to say I think my legs hate me. However, I really enjoyed being in nature and taking photos. Below are just a few photos that I took. For more information on Duke's Farms visit: Duke's Farms

Happy St. Patty's Day! I saw a video on Instagram showing how to make these awesome pendants out of melted crayon wax. I had totry them out. I really like the funky designs. Once the wax melted I took a toothpick and mixed the colors. Once I get more pendants I am going to make some to sell.
